The Central Broward Transit Study is being conducted by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to develop a premium transit service in Central Broward County.
The figure below shows the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) – the approximate alignment or route –that will be evaluated in the Environmental Impact Statement stage of the project. |

This phase of the study will result in the submittal of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) to the Federal Transit Administration in the spring of 2010.
It is the goal of the Florida Department of Transportation to incorporate local priorities with those required by federal processes, to plan and design a system that meets local needs and satisfies federal criteria. As new information and analyses become available, they will be posted on in the study website. |
