Subject: Rail must extend to the beach
Message:
The rail service should extend between BankAtlantic Center/Sawgrass Mills Mall all the way to the Fort Lauderdale beach. There are plenty of tourists who stay on the beach (and with Fort Lauderdale building more luxurious hotels) we need to get these people to shopping/concerts out west. For those of us living in the Sawgrass area it will be convinient to go to the beach since we wouldn't have to look for parking once we get there.

Public transportation is a wonderful thing if it is available to you all the time.
Waiting 30 minutes for the next bus is a bit of a pain, but nevertheless, I enjoy taking public transportation versus driving, since gas is an obvious burden.
I am very excited for the proposed smart track Broward County is planning to install and as a resident of West Broward, I think the train system will be very beneficial to us out in the Weston/ South West Ranches area. Please continue your plans to bring us convenient transportation! |
